Alex has nearly 10 years’ experience practicing labour and employment law, having worked with two leading law firms. Alex continues to practice with a leading regional firm on a contract basis while also maintaining a separate solo practice under the Ironclad nomenclature.  Alex completed his law degree at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia but was born and raised, and currently resides in, Calgary, Alberta.

Alex advises individuals and businesses on a range of labour and employment issues, including contracts, policies, dismissals, deferred compensation, restrictive covenants, grievance arbitration, and unfair labour practices. Alex has made submissions before the Federal Court of Appeal, Alberta Court of King’s Bench, Alberta Court of Justice, Human Rights Commissions, Alberta Labour Relations Board, and various Arbitrators and Tribunals.
